Hi,
At This Location Today's Visitors

I found Not only today`s visitors but also the results from different date ranges...And even Not the all visitors who visited today...
My sysdate is
SQL> select sysdate from dual;

SYSDATE
---------
23-DEC-09

Forum displaying today is 23DEC09.But at the above linked location its displaying the members from last July which is not proper.

Any comments on this ?

A visitor may look without posting.
I think data come from cache and not log and so it is like v$sqlarea you have not all the queries executing in the day.

Michel

Yes i agree..
But you know On different browser i connect to this forum with different username...Now checked that link again...No there is no such username(My second username)..so Here the point is it not like that.Right?

So the thing is It should display at least logged in users irrespective of posts right ?
But it is not doing that ? Am i missing something here ?

Yes, there is a difference between last visited and last posted dates. The data is obviously cached and might be slightly delayed. You will also not find your own name in the list.

Thank you Frank,
Here let me give/post one example here.....
User1 :ramoradba
Browser:I.E.
User2 :panduoracledba
Browser :Mozilla

Ok.Now today i did some postings on this forum As user1 On I.E.
Opened the Other browser with user2 just visited the posts of other users.

1)You are right i cant see my My Own name. But here i looked for the user2 in user1`s today`s visitors.
So it should display the User2 on I.E. right?i didn`t find that on both.

Yes thats exactly....
That is say like As per the previous replies it shold show user2 his last visited time(today) and lastposted time (1year back) right?

If you find this as a stupid topic
PLease ignore..
thank you sriram Smile

As I said:

Don't expect a cache to keep EVERY thing, just SOME of them.

Re: NEED SUGGESTION

The real questions is why you need two users?
